I’m new at this “husband” thing. I’m just over one year into the most challenging blessing of my life.
I would like to tell you that I’m awesome at it.
I’m not. God’s really good at teaching me though.

So we just celebrated Easter. And that’s a big day for us. We talk about Christ’s death on the cross and what that means to us. Passover Week: He is Risen!
What a glorious day! What a wonderful day, today! Glorious day!
They tried to beat him down. They tried to silence him. They tried to kill him. They tried to keep him in the grave. But the Savior has risen! O, what a glorious day!
Passover Week: Day 6
It is hard to believe that someone so compassionate, someone so loving, someone so giving, would have to go through the suffering and pain that Jesus went through. Why was this man, who was loved by so many people five days earlier, now dejected? How much can change in five days?

Passover Week: Day 4
This is a very interesting day in the Passover week recorded in the gospels. On the fourth day, as far as we know, Jesus did absolutely nothing. At least not enough for the gospel writers to record anything important. It seems, from what we can infer, that Jesus spent this entire day in rest and prayer. read more…
Passover Week: Days 2-3
It is coming. The dawning of a new era. Going to Jerusalem was not a joy trip for Jesus. Things were really about to get down to business. And that is exactly what we find in the second and third days of the Passover week. Jesus is preparing the nation of Israel that a new dawn is breaking. A new era of grace is about to descend upon the earth, and the old way of doing things will be made obsolete.
